ABOUT DHEANA RAMSAY

With no formal martial arts training and little interest in fighting, Dheana was initially hesitant to get involved with iKickback. A proponent of the Law of Attraction, she didn't want to fill her head with violent thoughts and frightening scenarios. Her plan if she was ever attacked? "I'd just act crazy!"
After a few months providing administrative support, Dheana began to understand the concepts on a deeper level and realized they weren't as contradictory to her belief system as she initially thought. She realized that learning self defence didn't cause fear, but rather, actually had the potential to transform it. She knew these skills could not only save lives, but also enhance women's self worth, while transforming unwarranted fears into honest confidence. When she realized how easy the techniques are, she couldn't understand why more women didn't know them too. That's when she knew she had to do something about it. When she finally did commit to iKickback, it was wholehearted and complete, but it was important to Dheana the company avoid the usual images of battered women and repetition of victim's stories and stats. She understood it was time to tell a new story. Dheana is now driven and dedicated to make the iKickback Survival System common knowledge for all women.
Dheana's professional background includes broadcast journalism, nutritional consulting, group fitness instruction and personal training. She does most of the writing for the iKickback videos and online content, as well as presenting the course with David in live seminars and online lessons.
As a fitness trainer, Dheana has a passion for helping people feel good in their own skin. Unlike many in her profession, she was never a 'natural athlete'. Growing up tall, gangly and uncoordinated, Dheana avoided sports and later developed eating and body image issues that would persist through most of her formative years. Overcoming her fears and insecurities fuelled her determination to use her experiences to help others confront their own barriers and become empowered. Dheana helps both her personal training clients and iKickback students challenge their assumptions, maintain a positive focus, and above all, have fun while learning how to improve their lives.
